American Packaging CEO and Co-Chairman of the Board Peter Schottland is one of six local business leaders who will be inducted into the Rochester Business Hall of Fame for 2019. He and his fellow inductees will join the 127 others who have been recognized for their leadership and contributions to Rochester. Previous honorees include historical figures, such as Nathaniel Rochester, Hiram Sibley, Frederick Douglass and George Eastman as well as such contemporary leaders as Robert Wegman (Wegmans) and B. Thomas Golisano (Paychex).
The Rochester Business Hall of Fame, launched in 2001, is presented by Junior Achievement of Rochester New York Area Inc., the Rochester Business Journal and Rochester Museum & Science Center, which serves as host to an exhibit of Rochester’s noteworthy businesses and their accomplishments. The Hall of Fame Committee, advised by an independent group that includes past inductees, selects each year’s honorees.
Induction ceremonies will be held October 21, 2019, at the Joseph A. Floreano Riverside Convention Center, 123 E. Main St.
